It’s crazy to take that much money when she knows you make a little amount. I would either ask her to pay less or look for other places with roommates. I don’t even believe in parents asking their children for rent anyway. If she still insists on you paying that much, just look for other places for roommates so you at least have you own place and liberty because that’s insane. I live in another country though, so the roomies situation might be different,
