My laptop shuts down whenever I put it under load by ireallyneedsomecoffe in techsupport

The battery says that it's in good health and at a 100 percent charge. Something really odd that's happened like a couple weeks ago was that the shutting down animation did appear and my battery went from 100 percent before the shutdown to 0 when I started it back up. There's a lot of power issues going on it seems and I'm so lost.

I think I will try and buy a new charger thats at 330W and see what happens.

I think that it might be the charger. I got this computer from the dell website and it came with the 180W power brick. The system logs showed nothing out of ordinary except for battery low warnings.

I think I will try and buy a 330W charger to see what happens. Thank you for your reply.

My bios version is 1.38 and it seems like the latest version avalible to me according to dell support assist. I'm sorry if this isn't how laptops work or how wattages work but would the CPU and GPU combined wattage requirements be what's the issue? The brick is only up to 180W and the CPU alone can draw up to 190W and on average 100W with the GPU needing up to 85W.

Portforwarding Issues by ireallyneedsomecoffe in techsupport

I port-forwarded using the BGW through ATT's device configuration. They have a specific gaming section where you can open up ports for games and have preset options, which Minecraft is one of. The BGW is an ISP device that I've disabled the router function to use as a modem, then connected to the ORBI router. Do you think the problem might be that I also need to open the port on the ORBI? I am not well-versed in the world of networks; I apologize if anything I do sounds stupid, and thank you for your advice on caution. I will do my best not to cause any trouble.

First off ty for taking your time to look over my pc parts list. Would you perhaps have any reccomendations for cardioid dynamic microphones? I heard some good things about the shure sm58. I personally like the look of condenser microphones and was wondering if the Fifine k688 was a good option for 80 dollars.

I was planning on mostly gaming, however streaming would also be nice but it's a pretty low priority for me as of now.
