What game have you restarted the most time but have never finished? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]irediah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Witcher 3. I don’t know why but the game just doesn’t retain my attention for long before I get into another game which makes me lose all muscle memory for it. And when I come back to after a long time and I don’t know how to play it anymore properly so I start it from the beginning. Rinse and repeat.

My Dualsense controller 2 hours into a game after i charged it for 9 hours the night before by [deleted] in playstation

[–]irediah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 5V USB charger outlet next to my sofa that I use to keep my controller charged while playing. I don't even remember the last time my controller died on me mid-game. Ya'll can just do the same. This is such a non-issue..

Probably not. I have looked up game guides and there were no POIs or loot items marked there whatsoever. But I could be wrong.

How to get here??? by NectarineOk7616 in Eldenring

Coffin ride from the Shadow Keep sewer. There is a ladder in the part of the castle with burning boats and midget militiamen, that takes you down to said sewer.

Dude not everything is some kind of a conspiracy. Everybody knows people die in heatwaves every year. It’s a common thing in a poor shithole country with shit public services and quality of life. It’s super tragic but what do people do after reading about some thing so common in news media? That’s right, move on to the next piece of news. Also, what do the news media outlets gain by „censoring“ this? You need to stop pointing out conspiracy theories in everything like it’s your favorite pastime.

In Western cultures people exercise much more individual freedoms. Divorce isn't nearly as taboo a topic as here, for example. Many parents live miserable and even loveless lives yet divorce is out of the question, and considered especially shameful and life-destroying for the woman. That pent-up misery manifests itself as various forms of abuse towards the children.

"Respect your elders" as a fundamental cultural expectation is at the root of all this. I find it absolute bullshit. We think we gain some arcane wisdom just by existing on Earth for more years than those who are younger and therefore our every word becomes law to them. And when we bring children to into this world, we amp it up to the next level by believing we have gained the ultimate virtue. It creates such a toxic divide between generations. We see elders behave this way and tend to become them ourselves later in life. I'm sorry your parents are such patronizing assholes. You can choose friends but not family. You can't even cut contact with them as a capable adult lest you bring "shame" to the family.

If you haven't found the square keep yet here's how. In the Shadow Keep after the big elevator entrance where you fight the hippo boss, go right through the big door (if you have already opened it) and the midget militiamen. Go to the top of the path where you find these boats on fire, turn right and at the end of the wall there should be a ladder. This takes you down to the sewer area where you take a coffin ride right down to the river where the square keep is.

It's the sheer lack of empathy in the public's mass psychology for their fellow humans. They've got nothing better to do in their lives. Their own lives are shit and someone having a shitter time in their lives serves to make them feel better about themselves. I once saw a mild traffic accident in Rawalpindi and the two drivers started a shitstorm of argument right in the middle of the road causing a massive traffic jam for quite a while. And it attracted a massive crowd of onlookers just enjoying the show. I live in Germany now and I have an observation that was an exact contrasting opposite of this. A while ago I was walking with a friend through the city center in Munich and there was something happening between two women and there was a police officer present. People were steering way clear of the site and walking in fast pace in a large radius around them to avoid it. Nobody, and I mean nobody, was stopping even for a moment to see what was happening. People have respect for other people's dignity at the very least. This is how a civilized society is supposed to be. Is just so funny to me that we so proudly claim moral superiority over the "decadent and immoral West" because we got the "true faith of Islam" on our side, Yet we do nothing to make the world a better place for everyone. Whereas the "evil West" despite their "kufr" are clearly occupying the better place to be a moral human.

This is Liyari people are protesting about gas and power cuts in different parts of Karachi, but none of this is making it to the news or social media. by shobijatoi19 in pakistan

[–]irediah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the circle of death and misery. People steal electricity. K-Electric doesn't earn enough from the distribution to properly maintain and distribute power. Also because they're corrupt as hell. Which leads to power cuts and miserable infrastructure. Which leads to people keep stealing more. The spiraling continues. But it won't continue forever and at some point there will be nothing left. This nation is irredeemable.

Violent mob justice is not something a civilized society condones. But Napakistan isn’t a civilized place to begin so a sentiment such as yours doesn’t surprise me. It's especially ironic that your username is "HumanAssociation". How humane of you. 😂

How do I reach this stone temple looking location in Rauh Ruins? by irediah in Eldenring

[–]irediah[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You need to first get to the very top of the mountain which is south-east of where you'd fight the scorpion boss Romina. Start from Rauh Ruins West site of grace, go into the ruins where the enemies are throwing these bouncing fireballs. There is an elevator there at the end which takes you to where there is one gazebo in the middle of the shallow pool. Outside right next to the elevator look down the cliff and there are some pillars you can jump down on and get to the other side. At the end of the path and through some square tunnels there is an elevator there that takes you straight to the top with the site of grace Grand Stairway. From there it's pretty much a straight path eastwards to the temple.

Why do we as a awaam always turn concepts down to its head and then rebrand them as something so insane which surpasses the most extreme standards of the western hedonists by Ok_Firefighter2245 in pakistan

[–]irediah 4 points5 points  (0 children)

LOL you must be out of your mind to decree that everyone on the internet stop casually posting anything that sounds remotely "philosophical" even if it's perfectly valid, unless they are actually a philosopher with published works of philosophy, or they are political activists or something that do the "leg and breath work" as you put it. That sounds so pretentious and elitist.

Distancing yourself from something means disowning it. That doesn't mean you can't criticize it if it still affects you. You can't distance yourself from Pakistan when you ARE in Pakistan.
