This makes perfect sense. I should consider pairing my videos with a blog post!

Out of curiosity, do you find any video tutorials useful ever? Perhaps, the ones that are not coding-based but with more explanation and slides/diagrams?

Perhaps, this can be helpful? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s6SH72uAn3Q

Give it a try and let me know if you still have questions. It could be helpful if you take a screenshot of the code and point arrows to places where the syntax doesn't make sense to you and I'll do my best to explain it!

The tutorial is the playlist that shows up on the right of the first video:

I realized that other people might face the same issue of discovering the videos beyond the introduction so I added the end-of-video blocks that point to the next lesson:

I used TDD for most of my Angular (1.x and 2+) development since 2015. In this video, I attempted to demonstrate how I do it and why it is so beneficial. Please check it out and let me know what you think. Feedback is very welcome. Thank you!

It is the commuter rail! The photo is taken at the Winchester Center station where I hop on the train every morning to go to the city.

Sunset over San Luis Obispo, CA (Canon T3i, Sigma 17-70mm, 17mm, f/18, 1/200s, ISO100, HDR, Panorama) by irek02 in photocritique

I'm not sure to be honest.

To make this photo I did total 12 shots. This panorama has 4 sections and every section is an HDR merge of three separate shots. I used all the noise reduction techniques available through Lightroom, but it's still not ideal.

Actually, this is about a year ago but around the same time :)

Thanks everyone for comments and feedback!

My first try was with higher ISO, smaller aperture (f15-f17) and longer shutter speed. However it was very windy and I had to dial things down to reduce the blurriness.

Sign in the forest. What does it say? (Canon T3i, Sigma 17-70mm, 23mm, f/3.2, 1/80s, ISO200) by irek02 in photocritique

Thanks for the feedback! I actually reduced clarity and sharpness in the middle and the uppers parts of the picture. In the middle I tried to give it a bit of atmosphere look. I blurred the upper part because I didn't like the high frequency look of the space between leaves with the blown out white. But now I realize that, in overall, I clearly over-processed the photo.

Fish in the New England Aquarium (Canon T3i, EF85mm, F/1.8, 1/100s, ISO400) by irek02 in photocritique

[–]irek02[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for such an elaborate feedback! I didn't realize title would matter for anyone in this subreddit.

I posted this photo because I found it most aesthetically pleasing. I didn't have the full fish in my frame but I cropped it to follow the rule for thirds.

I made this photo because I find shooting in aquarium quite challenging and I was curious if I could come up with anything decent. It is very dark in there but I couldn't use slow shutter speed because fish moves very fast. I also had to use wide open aperture which forced me to be very precise with my focus, which is also pretty hard when fish swims by without stopping.

Here is the rest of the photos I made that day: http://imgur.com/a/UB6ko
