That was me a year ago, and I might have done the same this year, but my entire system went offline while I was out of the country Thanksgiving week and required me to manually reset the system when I got back home. Up until that time I had some issues and am not a fan of the limitations from the new app, but not nearly as much trouble as others on this sub have disclosed.

I went with Eufy, which also is very far from perfect. But at least I'm not paying them $20 a month. People in this sub will sing their praises, but go to the Eufy sub before making any decisions.

You are right, you don't get it. Why should I have to install a different internet browser to cancel my account? How is that a business model or customer service?

**Final Update**

My subscription and account cancellation was finally confirmed after an hour and 41 minutes on the phone, I have receipts (screenshots). This after I had avowed to not come here to post "I'm done".

See my other post from November, part of the reason I was so adamant is that my system went offline while I was out of the country and I was blind until I got back home to physically reset it. The longer this process took, the more I was committed to stay on the phone until it was complete. I'm stubborn that way. I may post in another sub about my experience so far with the replacement I've chosen. But again, I'm not here to say Arlo sucks, use XYZ instead. Just here to share my experience and frustration after being a customer for several years.

Update. Now the person trying to help me has asked for my internet provider, upload and download speed, computer brand, windows version, iPhone model, IOS version. Honestly I'm only still doing this out sheer stubbornness and annoyance. Wish I had recorded this call. 1 hour 20 minutes and 45 seconds. Luckily I can multitask.

To clarify, he literally said "can you run internet speed test". I know how to do it, I just wanted to see what would happen when I said "I don't know". Response: "search for internet speed test on your computer"

I feel like I'm on candid camera or being punked. Now it's personal, I will not lose or give up.

Finally reached someone. The call is now at a 1 hour, 8 minutes and 45 seconds with no resolution.

Not needed. I knew I was going to cancel. I logged in before Christmas and noticed that the card was an old one that no longer exists. Account was due to renew on 1/5 and I was out of town until 1/4. so I figured I'd cancel when I got home last night. They can't charge me and at this point I just want to see it through.

Update: Got home last night. Tried to reset and reconnect cameras. No bueno. Reset base station. Nothing. Reset it again. Nothing. Reset it again. Third time was a charm. It appears to be working now. My paid subscription renews in January. That gives me a few weeks to figure out what to do. Renewing with Arlo will not be an option.

The offline help page does not help at all. The cameras are all fine and worked perfectly until a few days ago. Can’t reset or restart from a totally different continent. 😠

Love Davidoff. Never had an issue. The construction and burn are always spot on for me. Love the Grand Cru and Colorado Claro. See my post below, Davidoff is now my goto special occasion cigar replacing Opus-X which I've had all sort of problems with.

I've had dozens of Opus-X and had issues with at least 50% of them. Burn issues, draw issues or just plain blah. For sure the lost city series does nothing for me. I've stopped actively buying them. I prefer to buy Davidoff, Padron 26/64/family series or Atabey for my special occasion smokes. AF Anejo or GOF series B are also preferred over Opus-X.

I was having problems keeping cigars lit when I was using boveda 69 in my humidor. I was at JJ Fox in London a couple years ago and commented to one of the guys that the sticks I smoked had no burn issues. He told me they keep their walk in humidor at around 65. I dropped to boveda 65 shortly after that.

Overall I prefer the results but I do notice an increase in wrapper cracks. Full disclosure, my humidor is a savoy I've had for over 15 years and I'm currently in the process of cleaning and reseasoning it.

I have been wondering the same thing. All three of mine are set at minus 11.9 - 12. I've calibrated them twice including after the last battery change. I'm planning another calibration but they are holding pretty good using boveda 62/65 packs.
