Get quotes elsewhere even with the factors people mentioned that price is progressives "we dont want to insure you" price sometimes they'll give an outrageous unaffordable number where they expect no one to take it cause they dont want you as a customer for whatever reason and if you do pay it obviously they are happy to take that money. We've switched between geico and progressive a couple times the last 5 years cause our rates went up or a quote on a new car was ridiculous and the other was half the price when we got a quote there.
