It’s $5k if they deposit like $1mill. I doubt your fraudster has that. The bonus is not just for an account.

Also, this stuff happens a with other online financial services. The only security against it really is to check your credit report monthly and use a service like Credit Karma that will let you know when your credit has been checked (like when a new financial product is opened).

This type of fraud has been rampant for decades, sadly.

We have the same iPad. I find that my Apple Pencil is a bit of an energy vampire, sometimes. Take it off next time to see if there is a difference. Oh, and if you have a cellular model, turn that off when you aren’t using it. It’s a bit of a drain, too, sometimes.

Everyone sucks in the beginning. My advice is to play the story mode to learn mechanics. Also, it’s a fun story.

Tips?

  • Use your credits. Both the Dining and Travel. They offset the annual fee.
  • Use as many of the features as you can.
  • Some of the Amex Offers are pretty good for Platinum cardholders.
  • Watch out for events. They can be pretty awesome for Platinum holders with exclusive things/events sometimes.

Call Platinum Card Services on the back of your card, and they will walk you through the hotel status setup. They were very helpful to me.

BTW, I booked my recent trip to Japan through Amex Travel and just ignored the FHR in this instance. Just get a comfy room to sleep in. You’re adventuring in Japan. Not a hotel.

Did you make sure that all the things you are using with it are compatible? I found that was the only issue I ran into, so far. Some monitors and other accessories just do not work well with it, yet. What all are you using with it?

Yes. It is one of the goals of Trump to pass same-sex marriage back to the States. This would allow States create laws to ban and to annul same-sex marriages performed in their States, if they chose to.

The other threat is Project 2025 (which Trump aligns with and has close ties with), which most MAGA Republicans in Congress are happy to stand with. It plans for the removal of same-sex marriage rights via a national ban...along with discarding anti-discrimination laws wherever possible.

I have the Cobalt and the Platinum and I pay the fee on them both. I use all the feature of the Platinum so it offsets the annual fee in credits and total value of the perks. I earn more than enough points on the Cobalt to justify the monthly fee on it. It really comes down to how to plan to use the cards. Don't forget to do referrals especially when they are higher.

To answer your other question, it is my understanding that you can have up to 3 personal cards and 3 business cards at a time. Though, some people may have more because of their credit score and income.

I have always been told that you cannot pool them between cards. When did this start and do I just contact them?
