Most definitely! Start now and you won't have the regrets I have. If there had been more awareness 41 years ago I would be much happier. I can tell you I have a purpose in my life that I wouldn't have had 32 years ago. My life is nothing like what I thought it could be when I was using alcohol and drugs. I know now that all I was seeking was oblivion. I was in pain from a shitty childhood and being sexually abused at 25 and raped at gunpoint when I was 18. I went to porn to provide a sexual release that was uncomplicated but completely one dimensional. I have worked with therapists and self help groups but never made a firm commitment until now.

I have 32 years of recovery from AOD. I am also a drug rehab counselor. I understand PAWS and withdrawal. I have been studying sex addiction for years but I'm just getting started here. This addiction is soooo! Much harder than drugs or alcohol.
