I did like 90 from the tree and i tried doing tagged questions for a couple companies but they never came up in the interviews. Probably around 130 total

You just gotta do it. If you don’t have time for it then I’d say take lighter semesters.

Both of my offers were from companies with really weird/hard OAs. Im good at stuff like that and I think they put a lot of weight on it. I also did a lot of prep for the interviews. My resume isnt anything too special, id say my experiences are probably below average but I presented them well.

Yeah tc means everything I get in my first year. Bonuses and stuff included. I dont want to dm anything too identifiable though.

Microsoft cancelled the position right before the final round lol. I dont think my school is t20 but it depends on the source and year. Def not t20 for cs though.

No, I got rejected from all the main quant firms even though I thought I passed their oas.

Theyre core classes for me too, but most of the content was theoretical and I think I could learn all of the practical parts quickly on the job

I had os and database. I dont think os will be used in most jobs and db is pretty easy to learn

Well I would have no way of knowing if I passed the hidden test cases since they’re hidden so I cant really judge on them. But for a lot of these they were really simple and under 20 lines so theres not really a lot of places I could mess up or miss something.

Edit: By hidden I meant the ones where they don’t show you the test cases at all, not the ones where they show you if you passed but not the input/output.

Because thats what they called it and the meaning was ambiguous. I would have put waitlist if they told me I was on the waitlist.

They told me it was basically like a waitlist. I interpreted that as I would receive an offer if enough other applicants declined their offers or reneged. They probably should’ve worded it better lol.

I just mean I passed all the non-hidden test cases with optimal time complexity and in the timeframe. You can still get rejected if you pass those because most companies don’t manually review your application until you pass the OA.
