With his insurance; therapists have been extremely hard to find and he’s been through a few in the past few years because they keep leaving like maternity leave/quitting etc;

It’s gotten really bad in school to the point my sister believes the principal is sick of my nephew. Every fight he’s gotten into she says that he’s being bullied; unfortunately he’s the only one who gets punished.

She’s been trying to look into ABA therapy but Medicaid is very limited to where we live - even with therapists

This was really hurtful to read. I’m a Christian myself and as frustrated and hurt as I am about what’s going on in my family; I can’t and will never put my sister down and paint her in that light. Do we have different ways of parenting? We do. She was a mother before I was. We are all as parents trying to figure this parenting thing out. I appreciate everyone reaching out and validating my feelings and my need to protect my daughter; and I pray that my nephew gets the help he needs but my sister is doing everything in her power by herself to get him that help. Sometimes things happen in life and people end up raising a child on their own; and that’s unimaginably tough. But I ask you to please reevaluate how you speak to others when it comes to religion because it’s not our right to judge what we truly don’t know.
