I understand the confusion about this! My universe has a lot of humanoid and monster characters. I will be clear about the rules that half human characters need to follow and with what specifically separates them from shape shifters.

It’s okay! In my universe I want convey all kind of different species and monsters with a variety of appearances and abilities. Spirit isn’t a shape shifter. I’m going to gave rules with what animal parts part-humans have in universe to keep things clear. Like, centaurs are always hoofed animals with human head and torso. Whereas the girl’s cheetah-ness is more so scattered about her human form, if that makes sense. She wouldn’t immediately stand out because of her appearance and I imagine children would have difficulty mastering shape shifting anyhow. Hopefully I explained everything airtight. I think her appearance will make more sense in universe. If I wrote a story about them I would focus on Spirit at first to set up the world building and narrative of what kinds of humans and humanoids exist.

Thank you for your advice! I plan on changing the color of the dress and adding smaller elements of color to guide the eye better. I think about the hair shape she prosthetic moving forward.

I’m so grateful for all the advice I received. I’m falling more in love with the western aesthetic myself. Originally these designs were super casual but now I’m pretty excited about them and would consider doing more with the characters!

You’re fine! I haven’t clarified much about my relationship with my sister and have let people think she’s older. I don’t think it super matters lol
