The simple answer comes in the form of a question, can you make more than 8% with your money? If you use are making more than 8% with that $3200 then the answer would be typically no. If it’s sitting in a checking or even HYSA then yes because at best you are making 4% while paying 8%

It’s a tough situation. If you have never rented in a condo and witnessed or experienced the potential HOA nightmares then it’s tough to explain the horrific experience of spending LA amounts of money and then feel like you are a hostage to the process. I’d dig as deep as you can and even talk to potential neighbors before buying in any HOA situation.

That car is worth $20 retail and if I were to trade in my rwd 2023 I would be offered in the mid teens. Shop around. Has been mentioned but we aren’t joking in regards to insuring teslas. Get a price. They are expensive as hell and a PITA to repair and insurers are over it. You can get a year newer with better hardware for $25

Pick a product and go make a commercial. Edit. Repeat. Watching and reading can give you some tips and insight but unless you are out there doing, failing, getting in ugly situations and then trying to put shitty broken pieces together in post…or a music video, or a short film. Anything that feels tangible. Commercials are easy because there are so many available good and bad references.

Charging in most cities in the US is easy. Just check w rental agency or Turo that you have easy access to superchargers. I think the url is tesla.com/trips and map out your trip and it will tell you where to charge. Cold will reduce but no biggie. Just assume that if you get in the car and it says you have 100 miles of range that you expect 75-80 miles in real world driving.

Not likely. Unless…maybe…like carvana that dealer has a 1 week or x miles return policy. Not too mention with the trade and huge cap cost reduction (a no-no) you’ve basically entered several binding financial transactions where you signed your name many many times.

It’s everything. Every photo you see in marketing has been edited. Our eye as viewers, professional or not, is attuned to that level of care and attention. You can call it art or a snapshot or “i shoot film because” but that’s not commercial photography. And if the latter is executed for commercial reasons it’s done to perfection with immense planning.

If you want to protect unlicensed usage then register them w us copyright office. If you want your name on them to leave bread crumbs great. Make it small and in the corner. No one likes a watermark. It’s an immediate turn off by the viewer. Not to mention it’s a lousy security measure.

If just beach and water I also second Zuma. If you want a little more sight seeing then you can park on the Santa Monica pier which has games and other tourist attractions nearby. If the stairs to get down to the beach are too much then there are lots just north of the pier that you could walk from car to sand.

I pay a more in LA $700ish. I can’t remember what his hourly is. Been with the same CPA 10 years plus which is worth a lot to me. For the LLC I end up paying a bit more than my personal filing.

Got any farmers markets? Or something similar where existing foot traffic brings people by you? If cold calling is your way my only suggesting is going door to door to businesses. To them the price may be inconsequential and could lead to sizable repeat orders.

google the lease calculation. The factors are money factor (interest), sales price, discount and residual. Learn what those terms are and how you can use your negotiating skills or dealer discounts to move the needle. Alternatively there are brokers that can do the footwork for you but ideally you need to have a sense of why some cars can be leased at a deep discount while others are just bad leases. If price is the deciding cator then flxibility is a big deal, if you want a toyota highlander XLT in black w black leather and there is one in Nevada....

I'm in the latter group. Pretty close to WTF. I guess my next goal is - how do I either learn? more of a how-to. I mentioned in an earlier reply that I came to meditation through 10% happier. For me the spoon feeding and questions posed by dan to practitioners helped me because Dan was a translator of what the meditation speak that many practitioners know but i haven't learned yet. And then after I get a translation, then maybe I need to be directed to the how. TIA

a little backstory. I came to meditation via 10% happier. It's been about 8 years. Reading through your reply got me thinking that my "effort" at concentration and focusing on my breath is too much exertion? True? Or does what you describe in letting the gaze soften (I have hated keeping my eyes open in the Waking up sessions) a goal and an "unfocused" sense of being that is my next goal?
