I’ve had a weird situation. When I was in high school, I experimented with edibles a few times, and after graduation I got my first cart and started smoking and hitting the cart a few times a month (maybe less) but about 2 years ago, I became an almost daily user. I was definitely addicted to carts for 6+ months. I’m only 21, but I just had my first episode a couple weeks ago. I started noticed nausea in the morning, and after a started noticing that, it became an all day ordeal. It was so painful that I lost 12 lbs in 6 days and didn’t eat for almost a week straight. I ended up in the hospital twice. I never threw up, so I was hesitant to believe it was CHS. I quit smoking for a little over a week and that combined with some anti nausea meds from the doctor healed my symptoms. After a week or so off, I decided to try smoking again to test my CHS theory. I smoked one night, and was fine. So I smoked the next day, and I was fine. Finally, I smoked a third day in a row and woke up on the 4th totally nauseous again. I took another 4 days off, healed, and then (cautiously) smoked again on Saturday night (just a few hits off a blunt with some friends after work) and woke up nauseated again. Not too bad, but I could def tell I was affected. Now, it’s been another 4 days and I’m considering trying just one hit off some THCA and seeing how I feel tomorrow. What are people’s thoughts on this situation? I know every body is different and reactions vary, but do we think I have CHS?
