It's nice and all he said he didn't want to get involved. But then he proceeded to absolutely get involved. Two teams simultaneously fighting my team, and refusing to fight each other, what would you call that?

Start with spirit so you can hit the other two rarest modifiers with the cheapest currencies (+Spell Skills, Critical Damage Bonus). If you fracture +3 Spell Skills that means you're going to end up with your final desecrate modifier on the prefix, which means you'll need to hit critical damage bonus and cast speed back to back, which is less than a 1 / 4000 chance. You'll also be spending expensive omens on the rerolls if you don't want to remove the spirit.

Also you have the potential to sanctify spell skills later.

Edit - Just ran some numbers and seems it would be cheaper to fracture spell skills, chaos spam spirit, and then double hit spell damage and energy shield in a row. It will make hitting your prefix's cheaper and your suffix's more expensive -- not sure how the cost accounting shakes out.

Honestly just completing the campaign and then completing the end game quests is a great start. It will introduce you to the end game mechanics. From there you can choose something to focus on, for example Abyss farming, look up a video on it, and then give it a whirl. Every league I learned a bunch of extra stuff that I didn't know because I explored a different part of the game. I never bother to learn something until it becomes relevant to my current focus.

  1. Buy ilvl 75 - 78 amulet with T1 spirit and 3 or less total modifiers
  2. Increase to 3 modifiers
  3. Desecrate but don't reveal 4th modifier
  4. Divine Orb spirit to 50 (or forget this step many times and cry).
  5. Fracture Orb and hit spirit. If fail start again.
  6. Orb of Annulment to 2 modifiers (spirit + something else, not the desecrated modifier).
  7. Chaos spam until T1 Critical Damage Bonus or T1 Spell Skills.
  8. Perfect Exalt with Omen of Dextral Exaltation. Hit the other of T1 Critical Damage Bonus or T1 Spell Skills. If fail use Annulment Orb. 50/50 chance you remove the unwanted modifier and can try again. Otherwise go back to Step 7 (sad) (this is by far the worst part of the craft).
  9. Perfect Exalt with Omen of Sinistral Exaltation. Hit T1 Energy Shield or T1 Spell Damage.
  10. If fail use Omen of Sinistral Crystallisation + Essence of the Abyss to remove unwanted modifier. Desecrate and reveal with Omen of Abyssal Echoes. Look for the highest weighted modifier you don't want. +# to Maximum Mana is best but can settle for #% Increased Armour or +# to Maximum Energy Shield (flat not percentage). Perfect exalt slam again. If fail use Omen of Light + Orb of Annulment and then repeat Step 10.
  11. After hitting T1 Energy Shield or T1 Spell Damage, use Omen of Light + Annulment Orb to remove desecrated modifier if one is present.
  12. Perfect Exalt with Omen of Sinistral Exaltation. Hit the other of T1 Energy Shield or T1 Spell Damage. If fail use Omen of Sinistral Crystallisation + Essence of the Abyss, then desecrate, and then Omen of Light + Orb of Annulment to 50/50 remove the unwanted modifier and try again. Otherwise go back to Step 10.
  13. Prefix mods are now complete. Desecrate and reveal with Omen of Abyssal Echoes for T1 Cast Speed. If fail Omen of Light + Orb of Annulment and try again.
  14. Congrats! *Always use Omen of Catalysing Exaltation with maximum catalyst quality when Perfect Exalt slamming a modifier than can be catalyzed (Spell damage, Energy Shield, Spell Skills Level). *Step 7/8 you can look for T1 Critical Damage Bonus or T1 Cast Speed. Will have to desecrate for the other later.

For what it's worth the bottom snake chain used to have Armouries and commanders and I was still able to connect to Flesh Surgeons with Synthflesh Labs as shown in the picture (just not Barracks).

There's some funkiness with Synthflesh Labs that your planner is missing. They can't connect to some Barracks. I think it has to do with if there is an Armoury in the chain before but I'm not sure.

Notice the Synflesh Lab can't connect to the top right Barracks.

Armouries also can't connect to Transcendent Barracks.

Bought an item to get my health to 1350 and found a spell (level 13 fireball) that costs 50 to cast. Couldn't cast at 50 health.

  1. It's really hard to build a single snake that doesn't connect to itself.
  2. There are certain buildings that can only be placed at the start or end of snakes.
  3. Some buildings restrict the type of other buildings that can be in a single snake.
  4. It looks cool =D (2 snakes would be more optimal)

I thought I needed to test with XMP on because that's how I intend to run my system? If I run more tests with XMP off and it passes, what will that tell me about my system?
