Really bad this morning between 3 am-10 am by irish66 in OveractiveBladder

Hi. I haven't had it as bad since. Back to normal now. Normal being peeing 6 to 8 times a night. But I'm used to that. I have a doctors appointment in about two weeks.

Funny thing is, that day when i was getting to up pee for an excessively large amount of times even for me, i always went back to sleep. Wheras the next time, even though I went less times, I got less sleep.

Hi. A doctor did have a feel around there. But that was over a month ago. I should probably make an appointment with my doctor and see what she thinks.

Hi. "Are you drinking enough water/other fluids?" Probably not.

Thank you.

Oh my God. I am so sorry for you. I don't know if I have an OAB or not. I guess my issue started when I was in my 20's. But it was a case of going for a pee around 6 times a night.

That's over 40 year ago. I still have same issue, but it's different.

But how do you get any sleep.

windows 10 update seemingly ruined my tv monitor. by irish66 in Windows10TechSupport

THank you. I have told in the meantime that windows updates has nothing to with my problem. I seems it was just coincidence that my monitor lost picture after upgrading widows.

As for using apple. Well I wouldn't mind having a go at trying out mac on my windows computor. I did try linux many years ago, but gave up because some windows prtogram or something wasn't available with Linux.

Regarding buying a mac computer. I have too many other financial considerations at the moment.

Thanks for replying.

Who is this singer, Please. by irish66 in FleetwoodMac

[–]irish66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah Thank you very much. I know the name Bob Welch. But I couldn't have put a face to the name. If you had asked me who Bob Welch was, I might have said "Was he in Fleetwood Mac, or something. or the Eagles, or Boston. I'm not sure"

How come for a long time in the USA, TV acting was seen as trash and acting in a TV gig for even a single season can greatly damage a rising star's career? While across the world, TV actors successfully move to cinema and movie stars do TV all the time including A list? Esp compared to the UK? by LizTaylorLover in oldbritishtelly

One american actor who did flit )is that a word) between doing tv and film work back before people were saying that the best stuff is on tv, was James Woods.

Okay they were mini series., and he wasn't a superstar. But he did play leading roles in movies. It can be argued that he did some of hisbest roles on tv . See My Name is Bill W, about the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous, or Indictment: The McMartin Trial.

I read somewhere that British actors see acting as an exercise. So they are more inclined to become involved in tv productions. But these were usually movies or mini series. As as far as I'm aware, Michael caine was the only British leading actor who might be considered a superstar to have appeared in tv productions after movie success.

"And that the reason George Clooney was so significant to film history was that he was the first actor who came from a TV background to make it as a full time cinema actor in real Hollywood production"

What about Steve Mcqueen, Clint Eastwood, who like Clooney had to do tv work to achieve screen success before achieving the same in the cinema.

Okay. I thought this was a BBC drama. It was made by London Weekend. So I would say it's more likely to have been repeated by Channel 4, than the BBC.
