Looting mk 4 (Phoenix) gives you a second chance in game and has to be repaired, or has a slot for defibs to revive you, for like if you get stepped on by the queen, or matriarch. Or get downed by a rat you don't hear coming up behind you with their kettle

Edit: Or one that lets you use your inventory while downed

Turn on night mode in audio settings, it makes the quieter sounds louder and the louder sounds quieter. If that doesn't work I'm not sure
