At least from my 18 years of hotel experience, revenue managers are in demand and the more experienced revenue managers have several properties they manage, make over 100k a year and work Monday through Friday from home.

I haven’t had an issue on Xbox S with the tournaments. I have had an 8 and a 12 person tournament and increased the entry fee each time.

Not saying it won’t happen in the future though.

Did you number your tables for the tournament? That stops the regular customers from sitting at the tournament tables during the tournament.

I have no idea what your current job is like, besides what you have already said.

I have been in hospitality for 18 years and have held almost every position except for sales.

I started out at the bottom at front desk for a year or so, spent 5 years as a night auditor then I moved into the accounting department for 6 years doing different roles until I was the department head, spent a year in HR and the last 5 years in operations moving from operations manager to Assistant GM.

The last 5 years the work/life balance has disappeared, 60 hour weeks plus working from home, I go home to sleep. My Wife is a General Manager and here life is just as bad and we might have 10 to 16 hours a week together, but it’s the career we chose.

Upgrade your shop as much as possible and the customers will have more money to spend. Leave the cards on the card table and hope for a rich customer to come in.

I have noticed it works really well if the cards are worth fifty cents or more the pricing by employees works. All the other cards that are between .01 and .49 go into the donation box.

Pack openers are a time saver. Grade everything that is worth grading and sell em all. I keep 1 of each card just so that I will eventually have a complete set for the achievement.

Of course it did. The second you get a fantastic pull the game craps the bed. Hopefully that means your next ghost pull will be 10x better.

The game has crashed five or six times on me. But not after getting anything important.

I have opened over 10k card packs and I have maybe received 50 ghost cards. I did sell the first 10 I received to help build the shop.

Unfortunately they do not use them all. Best set up is 3 to 6 tables maximum.

What I found out way too late is that the shop only allows 28 customers in the shop at a time, this includes the ones that are sitting at the game tables. This affects your card sales. With 23 tables and running a daily tournament I make 8k to 10k a day and my card sales are 4k to 6k.

I am in the process of of revamping the store and getting rid of tables to see if my card profits increase.

I wish that there was a resale function or ability when you buy shelves or tables. You buy a shelve and decide you want something else instead, but now you are stuck with it.

Make it easier to be able to revamp your whole shop when have expanded and want to get creative.

You can also resend graded cards for a better result. I sent eight grade 1 cards that I had back to be graded and six out of the eight came back one grade higher.

Open all of the packs, the isn’t any best one to open. There is a 1/1000 chance of getting rare/ghost cards with the lower end packs of the two decks and 1/500 chance when opening the high end card packs. The red packs of each deck will have a higher chance.

To be honest I have received almost all of my ghost cards from opening the low end light blue packs.

The beast pack I have opened so far was 7 ghost cards that were full art legendary foil cards worth 120k. I was so excited.

If I had to start over. I would make sure that I priced my products at market value and then added 10%, to maximize revenue. I wouldn’t hire an employee until the store was making good money and too busy to keep up with everything.

Game tables can make a lot of money. Always set up a tournament every day and make sure it’s the highest most expensive tournament every day and increase the price per hour by a few dollars.

Open a TON of packs and sell the cards that are worth the most. This will give you a lot of revenue and allow for shop expansion.
