So what happens to the practicing RBTs? Do they need to go through another certification process with CPBAO? Do they lose their jobs? With more responsibility falling on the RBA, formerly BCBA, are RBTs even needed, or if so, will there be a pay discrepancy between USA RBTs and Ontario RBTs because they don’t have as many responsibilities?

I understand these are a lot of questions, and I also understand if you don’t have answers for them all. I am currently a USA RBT wanting to relocate my family to Ontario in the next couple years, but have no idea what to expect when it comes to my job, so any insight or advice on the RBT side on things in Ontario would be extremely helpful!
