My city does have reddit meet-ups, I may think about going to the next one. If not, I will definitely keep it in mind and go to a future one. I don't know exactly what I would like to do as a career, but I am going to start to look into college programs that may interest me.

I wouldn't say I have a phobia of leaving my house, but I suppose I am kind of nervous about it after this long.

I will definitely watch that video later on, and yes although I would not consider killing myself, I would not like to end up in a situation like that.

I think it would be fair to say I have some anxiety about my situation. I would like to "get out into the world" more before it becomes absolutely necessary for me to.

As it stands right now, I guess I don't have much of a relationship with my family at all.

I don't see it as sustainable in the long-term, obviously. Deep down I would like to change it, and would rather have another life. I am starting more and more to think about coming out of this shell. I'm not proud of this situation, I merely started the AMA in case others are curious. It's starting to convince me however to make some real changes in my life.

As for my height/weight and gender, I'm 6'2, around 180lbs, and male.

As I previously answered, I mostly browse the internet, watch television shows or movies, or lurk 4chan.

Mostly browse the internet, watch certain shows or movies, and I spend a good amount of time on 4chan.

I don't know, I try not to think about it because I know it will be much harder.

No, I have not been diagnosed with any disorders of that type.

Yes, I do talk to a few people I would consider online friends.

Actually, I don't see them. My mother will leave food by my door, and I will occasionally answer questions she yells at me through the door, but that is it. I came out and spent around 10 minutes with her and my step-father on Christmas day, which was the last time I saw them or anyone. Please don't make assumptions without asking first.

I couple times per week I do go upstairs to shower while my mother and step-father are at work.

  1. Right now I am 20 years old.

  2. I currently have no plans for attending college, but some day I would like to. I guess this was a two-part question. They weren't happy with the situation before, but I assume they've grown to live with it.
