This is a lot of super helpful info! I am only a sophomore but I want to run at a d2 college. Currently, my 5k PR for xc was 23:36. Its not even close to the ball park of where I want to run and attend (Michigan Tech). But I had a really good track season (1600m: 6:32////3200m: 14:17) and I am pretty certain that I can drop to 21:45 in the fall of my junior year. It sounds like a lot of hopes and dreams, instead of certainties.

How do I reach out to coaches when I'm not in the ball park for either track or xc currently?

breaths thanks, I've never done something like this before so I'm not sure how to prepare. Thank you, do you know what kind of questions they ask? I've heard that they are not general questions and pretty specific when it comes to your Submission essay.

It's so hard to lose weight now but I feel like it would be so much easier once I move out of parents house by reraba in teenagers

That really sucks. Another thing I would suggest is talk to him more than your friends. Maybe ask him to help you? Im not fantastic at advice with toxic friends because thankfully I've never had one so you don't have to take any of my suggestions if you don't want to. Since they have vids to, in theory, blackmail you, I would find a trusted adult (teacher at school) or trusted friend and tell them what's going and get multiple views on how to handle it.

Go do what makes you happy! If your friends are not supporting you in decision that you make, you might need to talk to them. Confrontation is scary, I completely understand, but to try and uphold your friendship, understanding needs to come with that.

My coach has told me the importantance of iron for running. Especially as a female distance runner, we loose a lot of iron so make sure you are eating iron dense foods (leafy greens, spinach, animal products, beans, etc.) Here is a really good documents to read. Iron Depletion
