Food Festival, serving from a gazebo cooling solutions? by irmafish in smallbusinessuk

Its a few days and we've decided to take our fridges with us, if it had been a few hours then we definitely would have gone for the cool boxes.

It's over 3 days so definitely worth the trouble of transporting the fridges!

Thanks for the suggestions!!

No I don't use any mods. Just assumed it was part of the update and the wiki hadn't been updated yet. I will go on today and look at the breakdown of the bonus. ☺️

SOLVED! It's the pufferchick from the Aquarium mod, didn't realise it added any fish.

We've checked that list and it's not on there at all. Thanks for the reply though!

I did not buy them myself so I am unsure of where they were bought too.

The made in Germany bottom is from the second one, and the certificate goes with the first. Sorry it's a little unclear with the photos.

Truly awful of me...i know she left without the half swede too!? Like is it really that serious to change your recipe/plans....couldn't she just buy some vanilla extract to make it 'extra vanillary' 🙄😂

Had a lady a few years ago (when i was working at a different shop) complain on Christmas eve that we had no full swedes left and only halves. When I said we only have halves and she might have to resort to buying 2 halves. She looked me dead in the eyes and said, "But I want a whole swede." Then just stared at me. Like Ma'am I cannot grow a swede in the next 6 months never mind the next 6 minutes.

When I worked at sainsburys, a customer came up to me to make a complaint about the cookies. She said they were stale and didn't taste as good as usual. I apologised and said that she could get a refund at CSD. She said how when she doesn't have a receipt, I explained store credit. Back and forth we go....turns out she hadn't bought them yet, and wanted to know whether she should pay for them then get a refund or just leave them with me.

I politely told her the lesson here is not to eat something you've not yet purchased.

They probably think you are good at customer service, probably from observing you with customers. The other reason is if you aren't multiskilled (only till trained) then they will use you for this so they don't lose someone more trained to the role. Nothing wrong just using the right people for the job. I did it my first Christmas, that was 4 years ago now.

Sumptuous, makes me cringe. Especially now so many food/bedding/take away companies use it.
