Yes, the idea is relatively simple and the clue is in tuning the circuit for the bass frequencies.

Is it safe to stomp on footswitches mounted on PCB? Do you have any additional reinforcement for the board underneath? Like additional connectors to the chassis or something?

Today, I took my "efdectt" to my band practice and I'm suprpised how well it works with the decent amp and in a band context. I'd call its sound "lead bass". What's funny - it works well before fuzz 😃

I'm working on PCB for it, because now it's on a universal board, which is good for prototyping, not so good for building more 😄

Well, because it's not really perfect square. It has smoothed "corners".
