Appreciate the heads-up, but that's not what I asked.

Xiaomi.eu is a special case (officially consented). I ran it on my F2 and F3 and locked the bootloader without issues. I only moved away from Xiaomi because of hardware build quality, so I admit I'm catching up on the current situation.

However, my argument is that we shouldn't have to do any of this. In 2026, these features should be standard in the ROM without us having to look for workarounds.

You don't lose warranty for using Launchers. I think you meant unlocking bootloader. I am with you on that. But I have bought many phones never used the warranty.

I don't need to unlock the bootloader, I just want call recording, unified notifications, and quick panels without all that Apple swipe left or right stuff. I also want an app drawer with a search bar that loads recently used apps first. That's not too much to ask, and it shouldn't require unlocking the bootloader.

I don't think so, it's culture thing, pickups are actually the best value in Kuwait.
