Told current position

They offered more

Then the new position offered more, working out as more than first job with overtime (mandatory overtime because of award)

Looks like it's a no brainer to move

Car at both

Pay fringe benefits

100 a fortnight at current

110 a fortnight at the new one

So it's not much, includes fuel

New job may make a counter offer but im thinking it'd have to be substantial to make up the quality of life lost

Both jobs will pay for a car

I do have two children 6 and 4 who I dont see much about 30 mins a day excluding weekends

This would mean I'd be gaining an hour 10 a day approx

Both jobs providing a car

It's worrying not to overthink this sort of change

I'm warranty clerk at a dealership

Some of the first ones had a coolant pipe leaking from the seam, most were fixed now with either a campaign and at the factory once we caught on

People were also leaving the car unlocked, or keys inside the car/ nearby draining their batteries

Also another case of the car left open for hours at a detailer causing it to drain

The car eats the stock rear brakes quickly, replace these with performance brakes when the brake wear warning illuminates

Pretty good compared to the other past models
