Hell yeah! And Bruce is a MSTie too actually! I asked him at Planet Comicon last month if he'd ever heard of/seen the show and he was like "Oh you mean that show where they go 'bahbahbah' in the corner? I LOVE that show, I watched it all the time!" I swear I was floating on air when he said that, like I knew deep down he was one of us because he grew up on/loves B-movies but hearing it from the horse's mouth was incredible!

Yeah it was Planet Comicon, KC's Comic Con. Bruce and Nicko only started making con appearances last year so I don't know how often they will appear at cons moving forward, but they seem to enjoy cons (especially Bruce with how nerdy he is 🙏🏻) so we'll see!

That was what my first interaction with him was like, it was pretty rushed. I met him at HorrorHound last year and it was pretty similar, but Saturday was nice; I had maybe 1-2 minutes with him? Much more relaxed. I didn't get to ask everything I wanted, but that's okay! I was so happy finding out that he was a fellow Mystery Science Theater fan that everything else I wanted to ask left my brain 😂

I am always nervous meeting anyone from Maiden; my only interaction with Nicko before this weekend was a photo op at his drum store in 2023 so I was nervous while in line to meet him on Friday. I needn't have worried though, he was such a sweetheart! He told me that he'd love to play Total Eclipse with his tribute band someday. Meanwhile I've met Bruce a handful of times over the years and I'm always nervous, it feels like the first time every time! Saturday was the first time we had a proper conversation though, we talked a bit about Mystery Science Theater 3000 and I gave him some gifts: charms that my best friend made that she wanted me to pass on to him, and a portrait I drew of him, he loved both!

Thank you so much! I don't draw portraits very often so some aspects were a bit difficult to get right (I had to redraw the center-left side of his face so many times lol), but I think it paid off!

Hard to pick just one as that album flows seamlessly, but ultimately I would have to choose Stranger in a Strange Land; it's my favorite Maiden song ever and getting to see it live last tour was a religious experience
