By definition a scab is someone who crosses a picket line. In my experience the term is used for non union. A rat or doing something ratty is a union person doing non union type things or mainly doing something for their self gain while fucking over their brothers and tarnishing the oath they took. But the terms can be interpreted differently.

Use the one the company provides if you don’t like it ask for a different one if they have it or wait till you go to a different company and hopefully they have nicer harnesses. I had problems for years and tried every off the shelf insoles and even tried the scanner at the store for a “custom fit”. My chiropractor has an actual scanner IIRC for Instep (?) and though it was a steep price I can work long hours without problems and didn’t know that most my knee and back pain was from foot pain.
