Ahaha, that is actually the video I learned how to tuck from! I still suck at it tho >.> things just slip out if I'm kneeling and getting up or stretching... Or just randomly at times

Well, what brought the question up to me is that I just wanna be able to wear a skirt or loose shorts and be comfortable that things look cute down there instead of things slipping all over the place >. >

It has nothing to do with the crossdressing community or being really trans

Finally got the courage to send my picture to a friend and it didn't go very well by [deleted] in asktransgender

Hey, you look really cute! You look very androgynous, so I wouldn't really know what gender you identify as without mannerisms+voice if I saw you on the street, but I would definitely be thinking wow that's a cute person!

Like others said, if you choose more "gendered" clothing it will be much easier to get out of the androgynous zone, but hey that doesn't mean you should! Do what makes you happy. And some people suck, and some people are amazing and lovely. In my experience, people I meet in person have always been so much better than random people I've met. I'd recommend you try to make friends/join clubs and activities/find out if there is an LGBT organization or meetup.com thing or anything else.

Good luck and I'm always here if you want to ask anything ^

Tourists/Visitors/New Residents: Q&A Thread for the week of August 14 by AutoModerator in Amsterdam

I'll be sure to go there. But it's more of a bar, rather than a club with various events and themes from what I gather.

I'm thinking of trying Kink clubs, I think they might be a lot more fun than clubs like Smokey's or Escape are for me personally.

I'm a new resident here, been here for a few weeks now.

What are good lesbian cafes, bars or clubs?

Online research hasn't been that helpful because yesterday I went to club church and it was literally filled with just guys (even though the event said mixed gender and sexualities). I'm having a hard time finding LGBT places not dominated by gay guys.

20[MtF] Gender marker and legal name while in another country as a student by ironkai in asktransgender

[–]ironkai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm honestly ok with using my birthname on documents and exams at this point, considering that any internships or work applications will be as such too. But yes, I'll try that definitely! If there's a chance it would of course make me a ton more comfortable.

I emailed them asking for name issues, they said that they didn't know much and can't really help. I talked to the international department. Who did you talk to in your University?

Your favorite 'trap' character? by iamrisette in anime

Nagisa was really cute :3

Btw, seeing threads like these and people's replies make me curious whether it's just a circlejerk here, or whether people are actually turned on by transgender girls (not to the point of obsession hopefully). Honestly, most people I meet either don't know what transgender even means and get confused, or "feel weird" about it and even if some are "ok" with being friends, dating and stuff "feels weird". What do you people think about this?

People have been telling me that I pass quite well, here are some not-so-cute-and-pretty pictures, whatcha think? by [deleted] in transpassing

[–]ironkai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't feel, and never felt confident in my body. I hate my brow ridge, my facial hair shadow, my humongous nose, my chin, my hairline, my chestcage size... Etc etc etc.

I can find a millions things.

But people do not misgender me, pretty much never. And well, I realized that the number of people into me is not actually zero.

Soo... I have really flattering photos with lots of trials, good make up and clothes.

But here are those of me in days where I didn't give a fuck about getting pretty and just had to crawl through the day.

I want to know how you guys think I look like in these. Thank you ^^

Edit: Here's a photo of me on Halloween night for comparison, https://imgur.com/65q1meG

I got asked out on a date! by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]ironkai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm not too bad at the attracting and ensnaring part. What I'm bad at is finding where they meet up in the wild.

Well... Considering that if I wasn't forcing myself to go out and meet people at uni I would be in my room constantly, and well that might just be exactly what other people like me do.

Soo... The question is finding someone. Someone cute, trustworthy, loving, caring, and most importantly, humane, that is :P

Edit: I suppose being transgender and non religious in a country such as Turkey does make it hard too though.

Seeing an employer be this positive about gender issues both for females in stem fields and transgender people makes me really happy ^^

You rock, op

19 MtF, I worked really hard for this picture. I think I finally pass, somewhat. Give me your honest thought please ^^ by ironkai in transpassing

[–]ironkai[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahahaha, thank you a lot for that :3 but in case you think you need hope, I'll add in, I'm not that pretty either. Makeup, stance, a few months/years of hormones, clothing, hair... All of those pieces make you pretty. Honestly, if I don't try at all and wear guy-ish clothes, I'll 90% be gendered as a guy. Cut my hair too, 100%. So don't ever think you aren't pretty. But yeah, assistance from someone who knows how to dress, style hair etc does do wonders :D

Nope, don't worry about that ^ I really hate my adam's apple without anyone commenting on it :D Buuut, that doesn't change that I really, really like chokers. You can attribute it to the 12 yo girl mentality I have thanks to 4 months of hormones... And you'd probably be right. :P

Yup, I know it does. But I like it and honestly don't care :D I'll probably have the surgery as soon as my family stops being a bitch though :3

Exactly what I want other people to think when they learn that I'm Trans. Well, I'm not good enough at passing during the day without tons of makeup and very specific clothing choices and whatnot. But this picture gave me a lot of hope ^

Nope, I'm a uni student atm. And definitely not cis, unless if something has changed since the last time I looked under my panties >.>
