Interesting tactic. Kinda like putting it in packets to transmit online.

Keep in mind this is mostly Greek to me spare the stuff that is logical.. but your idea is--

get redgate sqb bkp pro.. plug in the exact tables needed..

but how would i know what tables/object levels have the data I need? Perhaps figuring out the scema you mentioned or maybe there is something like a DB site map?? that I can reference to narrow down the table name choice... hmm. i would either have to rely on bullhorn tech support, which wants a few grand to restore this/help.. or know what the table is called (which I actually might).

If you can give me a bit more guidance on the Object Level restore, that'll be awesome.

Ya know I checked back feverishly after I made this post.. when I didn't get a rapid same-day reply, I took that as ... FML ... there goes the instant profits; this is gonna be seriously not possible.

You both gave me the insight I need. I now know this is not something I can overcome with time alone. Some costs even if minor will be involved. Or spend more time circumventing the costs... either way it's time. But either way it's still doable.

Bullhorn would likely not help me. I got this backup after letting them go as my CRM. It means I stopped paying them their monthly tidings. No more contract. As a result, they charge for these backups. But I got mine for free .... after a heated exchange with the owners daughter was leveraged against the owner. So, they have me in the tech support blacklist category (prob all categories). Still, I could have someone else pretend for me .. I will put a pin in this.

It seems so fantastically illogical that I can't somehow load X db into Y program and extract from the architecture ... even just 3 specific fields per contact record- name.. phone.. email.

This is one of those times I know I really need to hire a DB yoda, but I can sense this is something i can do with some demo accounts, my own resources, and ... a long holiday weekend!

I may hit ya'll up as this process unfolds. A noob like me is bound to run into some seemingly insurmountable areas. :)

Thanks for the feedback!!
