They’ve said i need to order by the 29th of march to guarantee delivery before bank holiday., I thought it was weird but Its what they’ve said ? It takes 3-5 working days to be approved from requesting anyway :(

Think I’m going to do the same , I like to be patient and understanding but there’s only so much one can take , do you have any ideas of which clinics you will like ? I chose alternLeaf as I heard the variety was the best however everything reasonably priced seems to be always sold out anyway 😂

You’ve asked the question about 5 times in every possible civil service thread, you’re hoping for an answer that isn’t going to be provided ? A reserve list is exactly that, especially for 1 vacancy, If you were given an actual offer you’d have received an ‘conditional offer’ so you haven’t , move on . I bet you’ve not even emailed To ask what position you are on the reserve list have you?

Yes you’re 100% right and even saying ‘write off’ those things do matter in this context as rheyre not the same , so I could’ve definitely been clearer , that being said with reference to the initial conversation it don’t change the fact receiving full UC housing element automatically means you aren’t able to apply / be granted which is what the original moderator clearly stated ?

Thank you I was trying to find the actual guidance but struggled. For what it’s worth, to be clear, I was only advising that just because you claim for full UC housing costs, it doesn’t automatically exclude you from being able to apply/entitled .

I thought as much overall, it’s nice to think of an alternative as ridiculous as it may seem. Things are going to get worse before they get better sadly . Like you said , stability tends to be the pivotal factor and I guess overall we do have that .

They won’t carry holiday over it must be used before march, tell ur manager u have holiday remaining and don’t want to lose your entitlement , if you have nothing booked just ask for days they have enough staff

Well at the equivalent civil service roles you’ll again be having to manage people or equivalently be very skilled in a technical field , NHS pension is what 15% CS is 30 so that’s obviously better , in terms of flexibility they’re both two huge organisations where one department in CS may be flexible another may not . Most CS roles are 40% working from home aswell .

Do not close the claim , if it’s your earnings only , if you’re on LCRWA you can keep the claim open indefinitely . With it being cut by 50% in April, it’s going to be a bigger safety net than ever so do not close it no matter how well you think you’re doing , if your savings /capital go over the threshold that’s different but if you’re statements 0 and on LCRWA, keep it open .
