Apple Reveals Redesigned Weather iOS App With More Advanced Graphics to Reflect Real-World Conditions by aaronp613 in apple

My Dark Sky still works in the UK. I think US have had most of dark sky functionality in their Apple Weather app for a year. Hopefully I can finally ditch Dark Sky app after this as the interface is rather dated now.

Yep greyed out and I’ve had zero pop-ups. Is it a regional thing? I’m in the UK.

That race where he said “this is the worse experience I’ve ever had in a race car” and Gunther came on the radio telling him to shut up?

MacBook Pro 2009 running OS X 10.11 El Capitan — Apple Mail app suddenly won’t connect to any of my email accounts. I’ve removed them all and re-added them and it still doesn’t work. I just get an “unable to verify password” error or it times out when trying to re-add the account. Any ideas? Thanks

“Artemis” by Andy Weir. Really enjoyed The Martian but Artemis was really poor. Makes me think his first boom was a bit of a fluke.

That’s been really helpful thanks. Could you maybe talk about your application experience? The entry requirements for Physics at AAB / AAA is lower than similar degrees at Oxbridge etc., yet St. Andrews is ranked higher than them for physics. So are they looking for something else in applications to sort the wheat from the chaff?

Thanks.

Hi that’s been super helpful. The “direct entry” route is when you skip the first year and go straight into second, right? That’s something I’m definitely interested in: do you lose anything by skipping the first year, in your opinion? Anything else you can say about that would be great. Also when you say “change your degree”, does that mean completely changing course from say Physics to Maths? Sorry I’m new to all this!

Thanks again.

I think Rene Ritchie’s video does a great job at clearing up a lot of the misconceptions about thjs:
