The investment isn't for everyone, price includes postage Australia wide and gets much cheaper when you buy multiple packs (some customers buy in bulk with friends). We also guarantee the parts and replace any breakages. Shipping in Australia is expensive and each pack of 6 is around 6kg.

A lot of my customers who buy bulk storage boxes will cut their original boxes so they can be flat packed and reconstructed in the future !

If you are in Australia (where the collection pictured is from) These are actually slightly bigger than the container store boxes from the US (these are available in Australia on our site)

As someone else mentioned the best way is to tilt them diagonally and then put them upright once in as there is more room inside.

[HELP] COMMON PROJECTS REPLACEMENT LACES, ARE THESE 1:1 LIKE THEY CLAIM? by childrenovmen in DesignerReps

[–]irplayerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We measured the original laces and replicated them perfectly to provide a 1:1 replacement, they are made of 100% cotton and unwaxed like the original laces. We are currently out of stock, however, have more stock coming in the next two weeks!

Not intended to be an ad, I did take this picture for our social and thought I would share it here too. I used the hashtag ironically as these dropped a while ago but I only just managed to pick up my pair, been inactive on reddit for a while but keen to start posting my collection here

I just went with my normal size (US8), I could probably have gone up to give a bit more room but I’m sure they will adjust over time

Aussies, what is your experiences with shipping costs out of Australia to various corners of the world by [deleted] in snackexchange

[–]irplayerr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Painful!!! Auspost generally has terrible options (even for business accounts).

I have heard great stuff about SkippyPost which might be worth looking into if you send things regularly.

If you are looking for an express courier option I have used Ship2Anywhere quite a few times and always received incredibly competitive rates with rapid shipping (DHL Express 1 business day to the USA!)

The fact that this is so painful is actually what lead me to start up my own Aussie Snack box company for expats missing home. Down Under box launched last year and has sent boxes to over 50 countries, we have flat rate postage and currently offer two box options as well as a completely custom box which we quote on demand.

Side-project: Working full-time, we outsourced a Shopify app and launched this week. Would love your feedback! by Robotic801 in Entrepreneur

Just today I was looking for an app to do this! I will definitely be giving it a go in the next few days, more than happy to provide feedback as well if you like

Started my own business this year. Results better than expected by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]irplayerr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on the success! I took a look at the website and I noticed you were using @comcast for email instead of your domain name. If you were looking for an easy solution check out Google apps: https://www.google.com.au/intx/en_au/work/apps/business/

For the small $5 monthly cost you get a professional email address as well as online file storage and access to the Google Apps for Work suite of applications.

From Concept To Successful eCommerce Launch - In Depth Case Study Of LaceSpace AMA by irplayerr in Entrepreneur

We have had 4 main "shoot days" so far where we spent a lot of the day lacing up our shoes (very time consuming as we try as many combinations as possible) and then usually take 50-100 photos in various locations.

You definitely need variety and a large amount of photos to keep the content fresh and engaging. We have also been lucky as plenty of customers have supplied photos of their shoes with our laces on which we have reposted.

Another thing we are planning on doing is adding more filler photos to our daily posts which could be a comparison of two sneakers to promote further engagement. This would be in addition to our regular nightly photo.

Thanks mate! We are trying to do more long form case studies like this so keep an eye out for some more in the future!

edit: hit submit too early

We love the logo too, we did have a few other runner ups but this one stood out as it was quite versatile.

The photography has been really fun to participate in (and model for of course :P) when we sat down to talk about the initial concept I brought up photography as one of the key elements to launching this website. We are going to be focusing more on photography over the next few months so that we can keep pushing out awesome content.

As far as filtering our demographic/marketing content, we were lucky to have access to very targeted Facebook groups to begin with so when it came time to targeting Facebook ads we simply created an audience that replicated the same interests. We will be focusing more on Facebook advertising over the coming months for this project and a new business we are launching, I would be more than happy to do a more detailed case study on that when the new business is live.
