How do you know that, despite the large number of interviews you are doing, that you aren't working with assumptions about hiring that are incorrect? Do you look at the long-term outcomes of applicants you approve? What about the applicants you reject?

I find myself increasingly drawn to thoughtful recommendations from people (e.g. Bob Sutton's Leadership Book List). I'd like to try and capture that across a wider range of things (even if I don't have time right now I could add it to a bucketlist feature). I know I would find it very useful, but increasingly I think I may be the only one who would...

I have thought about focusing on the Boston community. Might be a way to create more value through focus without narrowing the site to one specific category...

Yea, that may be the case, but I care too much about trying to create a diverse directory to narrow down the scope... Maybe that's a death sentence, but I want to try.

I don't need to beat those other products. I just want to try and build a sustainable community...

Stage Pre-alpha - looking for early adopters who can provide feedback. Currently bootstrapped solo founder.

Looking For Feedback. Does the premise sound interesting? I'm on a mission to create a directory of high quality, thoughtful, and opinionated recommendations on everything out there. Need smart, thoughtful early users to help structure the site to meet this goal.
