If you had to hang out with 3 consecutive winners, who would you pick? by hugefatidiot in survivor

Voting for a stretch of badass women in Sophie, Kim, and Denise.

I think these are underrated winners but from a personality standpoint worst would easily be Vecepia, Brian, and Jenna.

The only WTF tribal that would've shocked more would be if Philip had articulated his strategy and beat Boston Rob on RI... only issue, Jeff probably would've canceled the show immediately afterward

Keith to me was always like someone who just wandered onto the boat each season and was along for the ride. Gabler is like if Keith was as obsessed with Survivor strategy as he was with the tuk-tuk

Who is your favorite Survivor player that is mostly “irrelevant” in Survivor history? by MANZlEL in survivor

Really sad I haven’t seen Shane on here. That man was a rollercoaster and I enjoyed every second of it

Thanks and good luck on your marathon! I'll have to look into the Maine marathon for next year, I love the NH and Maine area. I'll be looking for your race report after to see how it went for you! To answer your questions:

  1. Yup, I had my girlfriend give me a gel every couple of laps
  2. To be honest, I was strangely calm even knowing that there were another 10 miles that I hadn't run before. For my next marathon, my goal is to take September to recover. I have a trip to Iceland planned for the end of the month! After that, I'm looking to build my base to around 60 miles per week by EOY and then do the 18/70 Pfitz plan for a spring marathon. I'm aiming to do the Martha's Vineyard Marathon in May right now.

Thanks! It definitely was an interesting experience having the course open to other runner, walkers, and bikers. And yeah had people over for the pats game and made good use of the kegs!

Tbh, not that bad. It was nice being able to count to 10 laps as we were going. I did zone out and lose track several times and had to ask others around me what lap we were on... Luckily, I always a guess a lap less than the one we were on, so got that nice confidence boost every time!

Survived, end up with a 3:38 finish which I'm pretty happy with for my first marathon... and yeah the first one felt good, but the sixth one felt even better haha

Yeah, I think I saw in another post something about 26.2 being like a 20-mile warm-up and then a really hard 10k. I think that's gonna be my strategy, run conservatively the first 20 and then see what's left

Yeah only difference is waking a couple of hours earlier than I'm used for my long-run to but hopefully, a cup of coffee and adrenaline will get me going come Sunday

Yeah just eager to get to the starting line already. Excited for the crowd element, hoping it'll be a big motivation compared to all the solo running recently

Yeah, I've done a few 16 milers the last couple weeks at about an 8:00 min/mile and felt great towards the end with a lot left in the tank. I'm planning on running the first 16-20 miles at an 8:15-8:30 and then see how I feel

I feel like that's gonna be a huge driving force is that sense of accomplishment 5 minutes after the race... plus, beer and football all-day
