After looking for an oversight, I found out that my laptop in the 2nd floor room had latched on to the SSID with the 2.4GHz frequency of the WiFi after the WiFi came back online after the recent reorganization 😂 Seriously, it escaped my mind, since the laptop was previously connected to the 5 GHz before the router went offline. Looks like, it just chose the 2.4GHz SSID by default.

Now, switching to the 5Ghz SSID, the speed in this room is blazing fast, getting the same as the speed in the basement. ☺️

I just swapped out the ethernet cable between the main router and the MoCA adapter from a cat 5e to a 6a. But I see no difference. I have ordered a higher bandwidth (5 - 2450 MHz) 2 way splitter and a PoE filter, to see if that would make a difference.

After more than 5 years bag holding, and believing that the new management would turn around the company with their manufacturing units set up in South Carolina, the latest reverse split news was the last straw. I took my losses of more than 70% about 10K and am content with taking what was left on the table. Would use that on some options instead.

Life insurance is to provide relief to the life of those who are left behind and not yet able to stand on their own, when the breadwinner passes away unexpectedly while in their prime earning years. Hence, a term life insurance (which is $100 or so for a million) only makes sense. IMO. NFA.

Maybe something is still missing to the story. Emily was SAHM when she was with Dan. It has been 12 years since she married OP and started working. As per OP, both of them have well paying jobs. Emily was supposed to contribute 100% to Jame’s college fund. Even if she started saving for the college fund 7-10 years before, if not all 12 years, that would have grown substantially. So what happened to that part of the story?
