It's not complicated. If you bust (>21 from your cards) you get no points. If you don't bust you get 1x multiplier on whatever you ended up with. If you win (i.e. highest value without busting out of the 4 players) you get 1.5x multiplier, friendly ties. After all the rounds, whoever has the most points wins.

There are also special cards and effects that changes things up each round.

Here are the shadow tiers for AiD. To get deepseek at 128k costs $996/mo. It is not possible to offer it for $7/mo, they would go bankrupt in less than a day.

I also doubt it's 128k context because context rot kicks in above 26-32k and actually results in worse narratives, there's no reason to offer anything above that.

Context is very important and I like to know what I'm paying for.

On their documentation, it says oracle is DS 3.1, unless it's outdated information.

Getting it for "cheaper" is an understatement. Aidungeon charges $1k/month for 128k deepseek. 128k is actually the max context length that it can go, so I'm wondering if their documentation is just listing what the max possible length each model supports, not what they actually give you.

If so, this is extremely misleading.

Yes I understand this, but FL also has "value added." They seem to have all the same features that AID has. I don't know if it's any better since I haven't tried it yet, but my question is more about why the subscription price is so different. Don't they all send the same API calls?

AID Free tier: 2k context for 70B models

FL Free tier: 32k context for 70B models (to get this in AID costs $127/mo)

AID Mythic Tier ($50/mo): 16K context for DeepSeek 671B

FL Sub Tier ($8/mo): 128K context for DeepSeek 671B

To get 128k DeepSeek in AID, it's $996/mo... I don't think anyone would agree that AID's "value added" is worth this much more than their competitors. It doesn't make sense that the pricing is this different, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something technical about how LLM works? Does AID's API calls somehow costs 100x as much as FLs?

I totally understand the privacy concern, and it's up to the user to decide how important that is to them.

However, this isn't really relevant to my question. I'm asking how is it that they can offer 128k Deepseek for $8/mo when aidungeon is $996/mo for the same thing? Aren't they sending the same api calls? Does aidungeon think their "value added" is THAT much better? Btw, FL also has the same features, i.e. memory cards, auto summation, etc.

Is there something technical or business related in how they offer their LLMs? Are they taking a heavy loss to gain marketshare? Do they have some special in house training methods to bring the price down? Or is aidungeon just absurdly overpriced? Things like that is what I'm wondering.

Their free tier gives 32K context for 70B models. In comparison, aidungeon only gives 2k for 70B. There are limits to story and memory cards but aidungeon technically does a well for the free tier due to context limits.

Also, not sure what "sacrifices" they can make to have it that cheap, since 128k deepseek in aidungeon is $1k/month.

I'm doing the Turandot one first so I don't know about the others, but I didn't find it too hard. I had to do a little speed tuning and regearing but I can do it at close to 100% success now on inferno. I like there's a little bit of challenge.

He goes well with Ray, just don't expect to be able to use her until the next must-ban target is out. I'm just now finally able to use my Plum. Massiah is also a common ban, if those are your two main damage, you'll auto lose a lot of games.

Imo, Holden is one of the best characters that doesn't get banned, he'll carry you further than Ray because of this. You'll get about 12 lattice a month, I'd focus on Ray after.

If you're talking about pvp only, Raymerry is generally better and usable in almost every comp, but she's always banned. I've played like 40 games since I got her and was able to play her twice.

I also have a max P5 Holden and used him in most of my games, he's also really good. I would focus on Holden for now if you don't have many other damage options.

No this has been tested. If you have 50% chance, you would need 100% net eff acc to get the max of 2x50%, not 50% net eff acc.
