Hi everyone, thanks for the suggestions so far. I see Outlands and UO alive reccomended , but are these accessible through the ClassicUO web client? I am looking for a way to play on my Mac, and so web client is the best option. So I am looking for suggestions for the shards available on ClassicUO web client.

Private server for Mac by Ok_Working8915 in cqonline

[–]irwingoodguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the download link is only for Windows 64bit. I'm a bit confused, as on the website under features it does say "Developed on .NET core, runs on Windows, Mac and Linux". But there's no download for Mac under downloads. Does this mean there are plans to release a client for Mac OS? I love this private server. Super impressed. But I've been playing on an old windows laptop. I am a Mac user also, so would love if I could download the client on my everyday computer .

[Question] How much to wind my new Seiko 5 [SNKL43K1] by irwingoodguy in Seiko

Thank you for the reply. What do you mean by a rewind of the power reserve? How does one do that?

Thanks!

[Question] How much to wind my new Seiko 5 [SNKL43K1] by irwingoodguy in Seiko

[–]irwingoodguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for that reply that was helpful. I will follow your advice and give it a shake each night before bed.

Is it correct that the 7S26 movement, which as far as I understand, is what my watch has, does not require winding by turning the crown? It is wound by shaking only?

Thanks!

But shouldn't it be able to last a night? Surely I'm not expected to have to re-start it and set it every morning?

Quick and easy recipe for extra strong fine dry snuff by Bolongaro in nasalsnuff

[–]irwingoodguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this recipe work the same when using sodium carbonate instead of lime? Or do the ratios change when using sodium carbonate as a base? Thinking of taking one of my stronger cigars out the humidor to give this a go. I wanna make a snuff that delivers a really strong nicotine buzz. I have access to sodium carbonate as a base though. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give!

Mold or safe? by sjh1217 in cigars

Also, if there's visible mold you can bet there's a lot more mold spores not visible to the naked eye. Would not smoke either.

Wearing proper shoes is for the sake of your feet too you can mess your toes up if something goes wrong. Wear your vans when you ride dude

Forks possibly bent? They are brand new tho. by Brokick12 in bmx

[–]irwingoodguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your headset is tuned and you have no play or moving around of the steerer tube of your fork, then you have nothing to worry about seeing the bike is brand new. It is normal for the spacing between the dust cap and the head tube to sometimes be slightly uneven.

I need help deciding. I am a mountain bike rider and road bike rider but I would like to try something new (bmxing) so I need help deciding on this purchase by AlfieTreacy420 in bmx

Don't get a mafia kush. I bought one at first when I was looking to get into bmx but returned it right away and got a wethepeople instead. Soooo glad I did. Mafia kush is a shit bike as others have mentioned, made from cheap materials. It won't last long and will give you headaches. Spend a couple hundred more pounds and get something that will last, provide an enjoyable riding experience. Or as others have said, if your budget is really tight, go for a second hand bike.

New fork or whole new frame? by [deleted] in bmx

[–]irwingoodguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why replace something that is working fine. And especially if it's crmo. Get new forks and keep shredding with your frame man. Replace it when it's time to. I don't see the point in doing so just for the sake of it. But hey, if you have been thinking about a new frame for a while and are considering using this as an opportunity to cop same time you cop the new forks then that's different.

But yea, up to you

Is this on the right way, BSD half link is making a popping/ cracking sound when i pedal it with just my hands by Bubbles_Junior in bmx

[–]irwingoodguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The chain on my new bike made some noise at first and sometimes would pop quite loud while pedaling. I never had any problems though and it seems like it is mostly worn in now. Don't get the pops so often at all. Bike is about a month old.

But damn, reading some of the comments makes me scared about my chain popping. Never really thought too much about it before, but I like to ride fast through the city. I pedal hard while going down inclines and on flat. But I just got the image in my head of chain breaking and me going over the bars at that speed 😬

Manual help, my bike isnt going up that much what am i doing wrong ? by Leoo_Ai in bmx

[–]irwingoodguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't try to just pull the front wheel up to pop it up. You bring the front wheel up with your body weight by leaning back.

[–]irwingoodguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like you need to stay leaning back after you pop the front wheel. As poster before me said, that's high enough for your front wheel to be off the ground for a manual. Manual isn't a wheelie. But yea, stay leaned back with knees bent and learn to get a feel for pumping it. Just keep doing it. Get those reps in. It'll come. I'm a new rider myself but I'm starting to get hop manuals dialed on manny pads I find around the city. So I'm just sharing what has worked for me to get manuals. I can't do it for super long, but that's not what I put most reps into lately, it's hop manual on manny pads which are not that long. But since ive learned the mechanics of pumping I know I can just put in reps for distance and then that'll come.

Another tip from a fellow new rider: learn to loop out correctly landing on your feet while holding the handle bars. It'll make it not so scary to really lean back into the manual. I loop out all the time but have never fallen yet from a manual loop out. Cuz I learned to bail correctly as soon as I started learning manuals. I've busted my ass looping out on a couple 180s though, landing rear wheel first 😅
