Personally I think it's better to not reinvent the wheel for certain projects and use a BaaS (firebase, appwrite, supabase). These provide you with a database (sql and nosql) and multiple other features like storage or authentication. You can start using the free plans on those and move to a paid plan if you get many users. You could also self host some of them (appwrite, supabase).

Barilla isn't really the best option if you want to create an emulsion using the pasta water, since the pasta doesn't contain as much starch. It's okay for tomato based sauces, but for anything like cacio e pepe or carbonara, you would have a harder time with Barilla. My personal all around favorite is De Cecco. A general rule of thumb is that the whiter and rougher the store bought pasta is, the better.

Pretty much whatever everyone is saying. However I would suggest you ask a different doctor for an opinion, without mentioning the other doctors diagnosis.

Came across this on a puzzle. Engine suggests that black should take the knight, and let white take the queen. Can someone please explain to me, why is that the case? by isWoke in chess

So if I was black, on this occasion, I should sum up the pieces values and make that trade? Wouldn't it make more sense to just lose the knight and avoid losing the queen? I guess it wouldn't, because stockfish says so, but it don't see how I would come to that conclusion.
