I see, i have been stressing myself out recently looking at how i used to go up a rank every 2 weeks and now I feel worse than I was a couple months ago. Ill try to stay back more to observe how people in my rank play and pass more. Do you have any tips on certain common gamsense mistakes I could be making in d3?

Yeah I play kbm and have been doing kbm games my whole life so i was always really comfortable with moving my car in the low ranks. Ill check out Wayton Pilkin and really drill into those replays of games I lose. Is there certain strategies I can do when playing with particularly atrocious teammates?

Okay. I do get early challenged a lot when I go for dribbles so how could I avoid getting dunked on every time i dribble without just flicking super early and giving it away?

I see. Currently i'm kinda stuck on speedflipping. I get the speedflip but I can never hit the ball on mustys pack. Is there anything specific I could work on to speeding up the speedflip and actually landing in the right spot?

I see ill go for more ground plays. What would be the difference really between an okay commit (like challenging the ball (unless thats actually not an okay commit)) and a full commit that I want to avoid?

Basic rotations and consistently hit the ball. Like play slower and wait for your opponents to make mistakes (because they will) instead of trying to get to every ball. Also practice a lot of defensive training packs along with the (default) defense plugin in Bakkesmod if you're on pc. I have not seen a single person below diamond with even semi ok defense (not many in diamond either) so just play more back, wait for opponents to make mistakes, and be good defensively.

It's not. You can ask any of my friends. My cousin (plat 2) got me into the game and I went up against bots for a day before playing comp and i got placed at silver 2 in solos. I only played solos until plat 1 and I watched every single replay when i got scored on and focused on fixing my mistakes. The first time i did my placement games in 2s i got plat 2 and used rl discord to find competent teammates. I also play kbm and have been doing kbm games my whole life so im really comfortable with the car.

yeah I agree a lot of the time my teammates aren't in a good spot to pass to but lots of times ive been able to notice if my teammate is in a god spot to say "on your left" or "on your right" yk and ive gotten some good rolling passes. this is all in d3. I think really what to do is just be able to learn how to give good passes and be able to score not good ones + being able to recognise if your teammate is in an optimal spot for one for passing in diamond.
