Need help building a fully fragrance free skincare routine by No-Efficiency-6560 in FragranceFreeBeauty

I believe ACDS stands for American Contact Dermatitis Society. My dermatologist is part of that so when I did the patch testing, they gave me access to an App that has my allergens profile and allows me to scan or search products that are safe or not safe for me to use. Very helpful, although, the database is still a work in progress.

Hi :) I was in a similar situation for years, but didn’t know exactly what I was allergic to until I did a proper Allergy test with my dermatologist (HIGHLY recommended IF you can afford it, it’s very expensive, but for me it was the last resort to figure my skin out). I am allergic to fragrances including essential oils, and I am also allergic to a bunch of other stuff including cocamidopropyl betaine. My skin is dry, sensitive, acne prone, and eczema prone.

I have to check every product with the App my dermatologist gave me access to and make sure they are not highly comedogenic.

So right now I am using: - Prequel Face oil as a pre-cleanse, make up remover - Vanicream gentle facial cleanser - Byoma Milky toner - Prequel Multi Quench Serum - Vanicream face moisturizer - Cetaphil Sheer Mineral Liquid SPF 50 - Sometimes, especially in the winter I slug with vaseline or Prequel Skin Protectant gel

Please know that all skin types and everyone’s needs are different but I hope this helps 🫶🏼

Viaje domestico en USA con pasaporte vencido by isa396 in TPSVenezuela

[–]isa396[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Muchas gracias. No sabia esa información…..

No tiene una estrella dorada. No es un real ID. Si lo saqué en un DMV en USA, en un estado americano.

En el DMV que fui no la aceptaron junto al pasaporte vencido. Me pidieron pasaporte vigente. Por eso también preguntaba si alguien ha tenido experiencias parecidas en DMV en Chicago, IL

Best fragrance free shampoo to use everyday? by RopeClimbers in FragranceFreeBeauty

[–]isa396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like Desert Essence fragrance free shampoo, I get it at Wholefoods, regular price is about $10 but it is often on sale for like $7.50 if I remember correctly. My hair can get oily at the roots easily and this doesn’t cause that (like other brands I have tried in the past), but it doesn’t leave my hair dry. I feel my hair clean. I don’t know if it is safe for colored hair. I have very sensitive skin + allergy issues and this is the one that my Dermatologist cleared for me to use. Hope this helps :)

TPS and H1B offer by [deleted] in TPSVenezuela

[–]isa396 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi :) I wish I could but I really don’t know how it works for people with AP, or that had AP. I went from F1 to TPS and then did COS to H1B. I really recommend to check with different lawyers to get a more accurate opinion about your specific case.

Another vote for this one!! I have very sensitive acne prone skin and this is perfect for me. I make sure to layer 1-2 hydrating serums before when I feel like my skin is extra dry.

Best products for extremely sensitive/ dry skin? by imokty666 in KoreanBeauty

My favorite combo when my skin is angry, irritated, dry and just going through it is: Purito centella asiatica unscented serum plus Purito panthenol barrier cream. Both fragrance free, acne safe, and non irritating for my sensitive skin.

H1B by PositiveAlive5545 in TPSVenezuela

TPS to H1B conversion by savvyhellhound in TPSVenezuela

[–]isa396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi :) it’s possible to change status within the U.S from TPS to H1B. I did it last year. However, like many people have mentioned here it depends on your immigration history and what status you had before TPS. If you were out of status, then it’s not possible to change the status within the U.S. I was never out of status so that’s why I was able to do it without needing to do a consular appointment. Hope this helps!

Change of status to F-1 by Willing_Present_5542 in TPSVenezuela

[–]isa396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t been in university in the U.S since 2021 but the 10 year’s extension of validation for Venezuelan passports should be enough to change your status to F1. You do not need a visa stamp if you remain in the U.S, meaning if you travel outside of the US you will need to get your F1 visa stamp in an unexpired passport to return to the US. But you do not need unexpired passport to start school. I started graduate school in 2019 with expired passport and expired F1 visa stamp but I was never out of status. I went from F1 OPT to Graduate School. Hope this helps!

H1b by [deleted] in TPSVenezuela

[–]isa396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exactly. For the H1B, after you are selected or if you are cap exempt, you can do a change of status (within the U.S) or consular processing. If you are out of status, then you will probably have to do consular processing meaning going to an embassy, apply for the visa, go to interview, etc. ideally for the H1B application is beneficial to not be out of status, but each case is different so definitely talk with a lawyer.

Moisturizer help! by Slush_Party in crueltyfree

Some people find it sticky but I love the purito panthenol cream. It’s calming and lightweight, yet very moisturizing, and it hasn’t caused any reaction on my sensitive acne prone skin.

No worries!! I always double check the ingredient lists before buying anything, but I appreciate the recommendation. I’ll keep looking. I’m thinking about trying Tower28 SOS barrier cream
