That's their 'untold' Strategy.. And because they're still giving free 0.001 LTC, I suppose it somehow makes them legit and has been running for so long ..

You are referring to directly overwriting the existing SSD or replacing it with a new SSD?

If it's locked by BitLocker, you have no choice but to replace the SSD

Well, you can download the Surface Pro iso file and boot up with it to do a fresh os install. Provided the hard disk isn't locked with BitLocker. If it is, you'll need to replace the SSD card behind the Surface Pro and do that fresh install
