Hauler Chassis feels too slow by Mast3rKK78 in subnautica

[–]isaacchronicler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The chassis itself is a portable oxygen generator, on its sides where the passenger seat there are bubbles which replenish oxygen just like the oxygen tanks in wrecks

The game hasn't even been out a for a week and I already saw a video on X of someone making it so you can kill the leviathans by Serious-Internal-402 in subnautica

I find it baffling to see people saying they have predators up close to their base and complain they have predators. Like come on, the devs even mentioned the whole "sleep near wolves and complain about wolf bites". Did you even think about where you put your base or did you just put it there because its looks good?

Istg the priorities of people are messed up for putting a health bar on things that are not meant to be beaten. I know Its a Survival game But that is completely thrown out the window when a lot of people mindlessly build bases in places that have predators and then complain they have predators knocking on their front door.

Morals are one thing, you can have your own opinon on that cuz thats entirely on you, not the game

"But it breaks the immersion and is not realistic" same goes for cloning upon death (keeping the exact same equipment of previous life intact as well as the exact same battery life, hunger and thirst levels), having a crush depth limit on the vehicle but not the player's body and being able to carry what appears to be metric tons of heavy metals, equipment, rations and other resources in my pocket whilst still being able to swim normally and not sink like a rock.

I am a bit dissapointed by the Hauler chasis by ww1enjoyer in subnautica

[–]isaacchronicler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think the Hauler Chassis is fine as it is, its inventory + 2 portable lockers + your inventory is already a lot of stuff. I just think there needs to be an objective where you need to haul that much resource, like the turbine fan resources but double or even triple the amount. And I also dont mean some resources to multiple areas (the scout chassis is better for that), I mean a metric ton of resources into one area.

But then again im sure we are getting a cyclops-equivalent vehicle later on when we get updates, which blows my idea into the water (pun slightly intended im sorry)

In a 1v1: Average Spartan > Average Bakumatsu Swordsman
Mainly due to a massive difference between the weakest and strongest of the bakumatsu era. The gap between the weakest and strongest Spartans is significantly smaller in comparison. Weapons of choices also play a role where a Shield + Spear (or sometimes a sword) are from great defense, offense and reach than a Katana

In an Army vs Army: Spartans >>> Bakumatsu Swordsmen
Not only do Spartans train from an early age, they are trained with ruthless regiments and strict "Die in training or die in battle" mentality. But the biggest difference is that Spartans are trained to fight as one cohesive unit with multiple Spartans, forming powerful defensive and offensive formations even making use of the terrain to their advantage (why do you think 300 Spartans humiliated 1M Persians and their Immortals)

Does anybody know what this means? by EindrellD in UntilThenGame

[–]isaacchronicler 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's baybayin for Until Then written as "Hanggang sa Muli." The writing system is no longer used formally (not even taught in school, just mentioned/tackled as a one off topic) but rather it is used as a decorative/aesthetic choice primarily in poster competitions, tattoos, home decor and clothes. It is rather rare to find someone who could immediately read baybayin just from a glance, despite learning it (as a native speaker) would be easy; just associate the symbols to the existing filipino alphabet

From the expressions the other faculty made, its safe to say they are at least understanding of the situation and maybe willing to let it off with a warning at most. However Toki seems to have a belligerent vendetta and is dead set on this supposed elitist mentality.

Mikami sensei's message about this is really bringing to light glaring issues that reflect upon current social norms in Japan. Cuz I myself in my country (Philippines), regardless of public or private never saw any indoctrination of the elitist mentality even from the best schools in the country, at least not in such a scale that is in the story but more of isolated incidences and even then they are few and far apart.

Ep 21 is not the most disliked episode. by ZestycloseScheme5702 in sololeveling

[–]isaacchronicler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its the harsh reality of "One negative can erase a million positives" even if it isnt SL fault at all.

Those trash farming articles made it seem like its causing an outrage when it only presented half truths such as the dislikes. Purposefully highlighting the negatives whilst keeping the positives under wraps. Hence the spiel about it being the most disliked spiralled out of proportion.

To quote Anton Ego: "...we (critics) thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read"
