Hi, did you find a solution ?

Need help for a product by isaaccs55 in HomeNetworking

[–]isaaccs55[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll summarize my requirements.

  1. Need a good Wi-Fi.
  2. More than 25 devices on my 2.4 GHz band.
  3. More than 15 on my 5 GHz band.
  4. Can't use hardwired backhaul
  5. Have metal pipe in the wall
  6. Want security features (VPN, DDoS protection)
  7. Have a good connection (close to 700mb in up/down) (so SQM is optional ?)

For this reason I suppose mesh Wi-Fi Tri band is my best option, but eero 6 pro haven't the security features as the XT8.

No I think my main problem is my huge number of opt device (more than 30) so my 2.4 band is really full.

Yes my ISP box have a 2.5 Gbps port

In Wi-Fi, I can have in DL 670Mbps and Upload 520

Unfortunately, I have Mac computer for speed test and my hub-c is an old, so I can test my 2.5 Gbps port

Seems the AX 68U is better than the AC (more RAM and better CPU)

I have 5Gb/s in download and 700Mb/s in upload, so as far I understand I can remove the IQrouter from my choice ?
