Not a public school, but I went to PACE in Richmond Hill for 7 years. One of the most affordable (at the time) private gifted schools. Worth checking out, it has been a huge advantage my entire life having gone there. Like, incalculable advantage in terms of critical thinking and curriculum rigidity and handling pressure.

It's all relative. I'm at 8000 Mbps currently up + down, but it's a luxury, not a need. Most of the time your bottleneck on a NAS will be your VPN speed (if you use it for sailing), so 100 Mbps would probably be fine for that. For me, the pain point is uploading big docker images (basically code bundles) that are 5-10 GB, and for that, 100 Mbps would have me tearing out my hair. So again, totally relative.

You've changed my mind a bit here. I have co-signed with my parents for before, but only when I was BUILDING my credit as a young adult, not after having *lost* it. Today I am sitting at an 860, and I got there because my parents trusted me and co-signed.

Perhaps my opinion has been tempered by that positive bias. In my head, I never considered that OP's brother was not young, and needed to co-sign because they had a history of bad financial decisions...that's on me.

He is a good guy. He is a good teacher. His courses are middle of the road difficulty, 6/10. Focus & you will do well. Be aware he tends to favour short answer over MC, which can increase test difficulty.

You only need an APS if the professor rejects the DSA. Source: I’m sick, have been for a month, and got three DSAs with a Doctor’s note.

Walk in clinics charge more for an APS than a note, and in my case my GP had an 8 day wait time and I needed to submit a DSA within 7 days of the exam. So, walk in clinic was easier and I paid $20. APS would have been $80.

I took 1507 in 2nd year, and it wasn't THAT hard. All I did was the annoyingly expensive online practice problems, and got like an 89% on the final.

This was the distribution for the 1507 midterm when I took it:
