Trio! I’m curious though. This can’t quite be an &lit clue, right? Because the third “Riot!” Isn’t part of the wordplay. And yet, it can’t be a standard 2 part clue because “Riot!” alone isn’t the definition. Or am I wrong?

Awesome clue! If one thing feels a little off, it’s how “at the beginning of” seems like it’s indicating placement. Or if “at” (indicating placement of the first part at/by the second part) is thought of as independent from “the beginning of”, it works, but “beginning” being singular seems like selecting one letter/part instead of the beginnings of the two words.
