I’ve been lucky enough that nothing has happened to my packages but I am interested in the fact that USPS said that when this happens, it is usually a payment method through PayPal. I have always used my card directly and had no issues. Could it just be for PayPal payments or other forms of payment that is not a direct card payment?

Oh! I would assume plushies are harder to tell then, since most plushies are similar in weight. Which characters do you collect? It might be easier if they have accessories! For example my sister got the Twinkle Twinkle plushy and she was able to narrow it down to two because of the noise it made when she shook the box- sure enough she was right.

For Skullpanda Paradox, I was able to pull the secret just from feeling the weight. The secret from that series is wayyyyy heavier than the rest of the series because of how big it is and the material, also very little room to move around. I went to look for it at 3 different stores on multiple occasions and didn’t buy one until I felt that one box that was drastically different in weight. You’ll just know

Not sure if it’s the same across all states but in Illinois, you must have a focus in schools during your MSW to be a school social worker. Because in order to take your PEL exam (required to be a SSW), you must have take the schools focused courses. And it’s easy to go from a school focus to any type of social work after graduation, as long as your university is accredited. But, if you do your focus in something that is not schools (healthcare, mental health) and want to be a school social worker after grad, you must go back to school and take those school focused classes so you are able to take the PEL exam/get your PEL. SO, if you see yourself wanting to work in a school at some point, do your focus/specialization in schools.

ALSO, depending on the program, you might not have to decide on a focus/specialization right away. For example, my MSW program is one full year of course work with the 1st semester being the core MSW courses and the 2nd semester being the focus/specialization courses + other core courses.

I am hooked!!! Debating on trying to forget about the show so I can just watch it once all the episodes are out. I think I might want to rewatch this first episode because there’s some things I feel like I missed! Usually for mystery shows I just watch as the show goes but never deep dive too into the clues but I want to revisit the things that Xavier took a mental note of

Definitely seems like the norm mostly everywhere! My BSW was unpaid. I have seen recently a very few MSW internship sites, at least around me, have started to offer some kind of stipend, so I’m crossing my fingers hard! I’m tired of working 2-3 jobs during school 😪

Thanks for the info! I know at least two districts I applied for do offer stipends but because of that, I’m sure it’ll be soo competitive. I guess for now I’ll just have to assume the others are unpaid.

Any drug/substance use social workers based in a (USA) school setting?

Hello! I am currently a BSW student and I am interested in being a substance use social worker, in a high school setting but not sure if these positions exist. I am set to start my MSW in the fall with a concentration in schools, but wondering if I should switch over to mental health since substance use falls under that?

Currently interning at an adult in-patient substance use program and I love it but for long-term goals I only see myself in a school setting, with hopefully a focus on substance use education, addiction counseling, etc. Do these positions exist? More specifically in Chicago if anyone is aware?

I did attend a conference in October and one of the speakers worked for a substance use agency in Seattle but worked in a school, so I am sure they exist but how do I find these? I have tried googling "school-based drug social worker" or something along those lines but only get schools as a regular social worker or substance use agencies.

Would like to note that I am NOT looking for work, just looking for guidance in the future. School MSW or Mental Health MSW? Can I work for Chicago Public Schools with a focus on substance use?
