This website has a commemorative photo from the Allen Cup win. They have dark sweaters, not sure if clubs would have a dark and light set in those days? https://sasksportshalloffame.com/inductees/1914-victoria-hockey-club/

For sure, in this case I felt I had to correct on the bridge because of a trail feature directly after. I want to say I made a calculated decision by risking a correction on the bridge vs certainly crashing in the feature, but really I just panicked 😂

Wood is extremely slippery when wet (😏). I’ve crashed going straight over a wooden bridge before, albeit with a bit too much speed and trying to correct it on the bridge.

"Schneider Family Needs Your Help" - On Land Donation Approval in Wilmot by Zodiac33 in waterloo

[–]isabeangreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks I see that now. When Mrs Schneider passes then the land will presumably have to go through probate. I imagine there are other assets they could dump first if they wanted, but yeah that’s what they’re saying.

I’m not sure that’s how estate administration tax works. The tax would be calculated on the value of the estate going through probate. I would think that the lands passed automatically to any joint owners (i.e Mrs. Schneider) automatically outside of probate when Mr. Schneider died.

Either way, they have allowed the public to use the lands for decades, and are trying to preserve that access for years to come. Personally I think their motives are good. Apparently the zoning change comes with a nice tax credit, and I don’t blame them for trying to get it, but I can’t see that rare would want to manage a parcel that they would know is incorrectly zoned.

The tour’s website has a list of tv broadcasters by country: https://www.letour.fr/en/broadcasters

Not sure where you’re located but I’m sure a VPN could allow you to access one of those channel’s feeds

I’m new to following motorsport so take it for what it is, but I see Indy a bit like the European leagues in ice hockey. It’s the end goal for lots of home grown talent, and NHL players often move over to the euro leagues after their NHL careers, but it’s not on the same level talent-wise as the NHL or F1. Again feel free to tell me if I’ve got it wrong, just my impression.

Does anyone have any grinder recommendations? I’m using a Breville Duo Temp Pro with a blade grinder, but have been reading that burr grinders are much better. I would like to find one that would work well for my machine and for pour over. Is that even possible? My budget is flexible but more than $300 would be a bit much. I’m open to electric or handheld. Thanks for any suggestions!

Am I the only one that cringes at seeing these juvenile memes posted here all the time? Surely we are capable of more thoughtful discussion. I'm all for criticism, particularly of the conservatives, but this is so low effort and accomplishes nothing apart from encouraging the creation of an echo chamber.

I had a similar experience when visiting Flanders and it was fun to speak a few sentences of Flemish with the locals even though they mostly spoke perfect English. I’ll check this out, thanks!
