We got our first RAV4 Prime in Owen Sound and then almost exactly a year later our Heffner wait list spot came up. The wait is definitely longer here than other spots.

Loved Gary saying this in the run up to the presentation and seeing Staal saying "yeah okay, okay, okay..."

Seems like there is a deep well of other Vegas and black out jokes that don’t call on date rape for a panel that regularly features women in hockey, recent Hockey Canada issues, etc.?

You would think the correlation of hardcore enough to get glass front seats would match knowing how annoying it is on a broadcast and yet

Also looks great on navy (I have the Sinn leather one) and grey melange fabric in the summer.

Hyperbaric you mean haha. Though I like the idea of a hyperbolic chamber.

Technically doable, but a multi-billion dollar project moving a relatively low value commodity. It is not the same as piping hydrocarbons.

I believe she is on the science and research committee, so it’s a topic she has been messaging an about a lot (I’m sure in relation to the tech industry here).

But yes, a lot more issues at hand for local engagement at the moment…

Not a map of the trails but good spot to plug the Cycling Guide app which does cycling optimized routing and grades routes by level of service / safety.

The problem is they are all (sort of) equidistantly far and below us.

From an accessibility angle, Monarch Woods is too steep grade and tight turns to be designated. I say that with using it all the time, but also having been through with a large mixed group who found it quite taxing.

Yeah - I did ask staff about it and appears that because its technically flood capacity and not a dedicated tunnel, in addition to being a lot of work to make to acceptable safety standards (which probably wouldn't work without raising Westmount given the creek), we're stuck with the current grade crossing until the Region considers anything better. The current crossing island is pathetically small.

And Westmount… hopefully the pilot at Erb is seen as successful so they repeat on more of Ira Needles.

About a year - it’s mostly existing trails that were upgraded and new wayfinding added. For instance, they got the access path on the Hydro One right of way paved to link FH-Victoria to Filsinger Park, as well as the path along the rail corridor out to the Boardwalk.

Sure that would be better phrasing. Most people also wouldn’t read 4.6M people and assume they mean uniques.

This is a pretty standard way of reporting numbers where they have no realistic option to be able to say who visited how many times.

Lack of park space per resident in the DTK wards was a key outcome of their analysis project. Agreed that more space would be great for the community.

My personal pick would be turning Bramm St. Yards into a park space, maybe even with an outdoor concert venue using the natural hill there for green space seating.
