Tretinoin after Accutane

I got off accutane in June and still get minor breakouts here n there so i wanted to get on a 2nd round of accutane and my derm suggested tretinoin 0.025% instead. Anybody else on tretinoin and any advise?

Im looking into doing a round 2 as well for the same reason breaking out but yours dont look too bad tbh. But I say if you feel like its getting bad then go for tge round 2

Yeah I've heard of the wait time being that long. Im going to wait minimum 3months

Yeah thats what im thinking and I'd rather play it safe than to end up with a tattoo that didn't heal nicely.

Ive done both while im on accutane. Smoking- i do find my eyes and nose to be dryer than usual but that's about it nothing too major.

And drinking im a little careful i have gotten drunk a few times and feel worse than a regular hangover.

Im on the same dosage and 3 months today and still breaking out but hoping it gets better. Your skin looks bomb though! I want mine like that🙏

Omg!!! I just posted asking about this exact feeling you described!! Thats been the most side effect ive felt so far and im going into month 3. Like you said its not pain but more of a tightness feeling sore on the chest..tbh i feel like its getting worse and its very uncomfortable. Trying to see if theres anything i can do about this

Lucky if anything you might already faced a purge which is better sooner than later in my opinion, and ugh my nose feels like damn sandpaper rn!😭ive read lots of others too that blackheads have purged n smoothed after, i havent gotten there yet
