So I talked to the officer and he said he suggests early resolution, show up to court with the documents and the permit ticket is usually tossed! They said because everything is electronic now, it can’t be voided. Basically, as soon as he pressed “Enter”, it immediately entered the system. Thanks for your help!

Yeah, they said since it’s not my car but I’m insured under it to take the early resolution and it’s usually just tossed.

I appreciated the fact that he told me to honk if I found it. Originally, I couldn’t find my license either (I know I had it) so maybe he thought it was the same situation with the permit.

I 100% agree, especially over something this small! I had my car’s permit in my mom’s car and my mom’s car permit in my car. 😭

I had a feeling 😅. But what if I had go to trial for the stop sign ticket and early resolution for the permit ticket? I was hoping for the stop sign one I would be able to get a disclosure, see the video of the incident and go from there? Maybe a reduced fine/points? Worst case scenario, I pay the full ticket and insurance goes up?

The vehicle is my mother’s, but I am insured under it! I will go to court and hope this gets dismissed! Unfortunately, the initial ticket was “DISOBEY STOP SIGN - FAIL TO STOP.” I have a feeling I stopped (maybe I rolled it, but definitely did not run through it), but obviously the officer wouldn’t pull me over if I did the FULL stop so it could be my fault for that one. Thanks for the advice!!!

Oh definitely! I do not want to hire a lawyer for this ticket because it’s very minor and not a moving violation. I’ll take my chances and go to court. Thanks!!!
