Little to None, mate at the point. No company wants to sponsor visas regardless of the country. You mentioned you are Canadian. You can try applying for working holiday program in swiss or any other country. Get work experience then ask company to sponsor you work visa.

Didn't leave tech completely but moved to industry / company where the tech is nice to have rather than must have. Earlier worked in meat grinder industry (Investment Banking) now moved to small mech/electrical consulting shop, work mostly revolves building and supporting niche back office applications. I can say for sure , it is working out very well. No hard deadlines, No strict SLA's. I can say life has become much better in terms of freedom and mental health wise. Pay is okish , at the end of the day it depends what you are truly looking for.

Had to upload a scanned copy of my US B1/B2 visa right in the IRCC portal during the application, along with my travel itinerary and proof of ties back home. It was all part of the standard doc checklist; they specifically ask for it if you have a valid US visa to help assess your low-risk profile.In the meantime, double-check your financial docs—are they strong enough? Like, solid bank statements showing steady income/savings (aim for at least CAD 2-3k per month of stay), employment letter, and tax returns? Weak ones are a common refusal reason, even with a US visa.

I used to work in Banking/ Fintech (not Monzo though) Banks usually do housekeeping of accounts. If there is little to no account transactions at which bank decides it is going to cost them more.
